Im  not a Eotech owner, but  once had a reflex sight.
I'd  have to go with Eotech hands down.

Better yet,go with a Aimpoint.

Why are you giving advice about the Eotech when you just admitted you have never owned one? Perhaps you might leave this section to those of us who have used the optic in question and quit trolling.

LegolasARG3, the reflex has a tendency to wash out the reticle in bright light. Its advantage is that it is  Tritium lamp powered and doesn't require batteries. The EOtech is a very durable optic and just in case yours breaks (rare) their customer service is excellent. I use one in my daily work duties.

i like the eotech so much i bought a second one. my first optic was a reflex. i hated the dang thing. almost impossible to see quickly in bright light.

i have a bushnell holosight <no cage>on my bushy. it's been dropped and abused a good bit over the last 3 years with ZERO problems. the second one i bought was the 552 with the alluminum cage.

i will say this. i prefer the AA model to the n battery model. batteries are cheaper and last longer.

I do not own an EoTech but have a fair amount of time using them. I have owned a Reflex II for coming up on 6 years now. I have owned Aimpoints for as long. The Reflex is better than irons alone and better than any of the off brand optics I have seen (ATN, OKO, C-More etc) but is usually my last choice among the top three (Aimpoint, EoTech, Reflex). Between the blue tint and reticle wash out, I like the eoTech better between those two.

The EoTech is a pretty durable optic, but I would suggest getting one of the AA models (512 or 552). That new mount from GG&G looks very interesting to me as well. The stock mount, while apparently sufficient for most could be improved upon in my opinion.

I've owned both (as well as 3 AImpoints) and of your two choices, would prefer the 552 or 512 (AA models). The Reflex was good for it's time, but that was what, 10 years ago?  It's advantage during its heyday was not requiring batteries, as the Comp M went through batteries rather quickly. The newest gen Aimpoints and EOTech battery life is MUCH improved.

I think you can get EOTech 512s for $330 or so, and the 552 for under $400. The EOTech has a built in mount.  The Reflex 2, depending on your mount, can be about $4-450.

I've owned an EOTech and a Reflex. The Reflex isn't as bad as some people make it to be, but the EOTech is really a lot better. The EOTech is more durable than the Reflex; the reflex having a hood that's only halfassed attached. Definitely get the AA version; I have the 552, but recommend the 512.

Not to sound harsh, but if you don't know prices, you need to do a lot more research on your own before you waste people's time. It's just bloody discourteous. The answers you're looking for have been discussed previously, repeatedly.
