This may be the wrong place to post this but here we go anyway.  I want the magpul UBR but there is no way im spending 250$$ for a stock.  That being said, I did some poking around and came up with the ergo f93 as an alternative option that has the same characteristics of the magpul UBR and a better price point coming in at around the 150$$ range.  If you have one please give me a review.  Thanks

That's because the UBR is the evolution of the original Magpul designed M93 which was sold to Ergo.

I have one. I like it because the cheek weld is always the same and it locks up rock solid.
It is a little heavy, so it'll balance a gun out if your rifle is a little front heavy.

My next build is getting a magpul str because I want storage and something a little lighter.

I have one.  It's a nice stock, but I would rank it several steps below a UBR (which I also have.)

If you drift over to the AIM Surplus forum you'll find coupon codes that knock the UBR down to $200 shipped.  Does that help you make up your mind?

I have one on my 3-Gun rifle and another for the REECE I'm building.  Far and away my favorite stock,  It is a lot like the UBR but weighs and costs less.  Eventually I will replace the CTR on my SBR with one also.  If I'm going to have a collapsable stock, the Ergo is the one I'll run.

I had two of the old m93 magpul stocks. I liked them but mainly because they were made by magpul and were rare. I recently sold both of my builds that had these stocks, I wish I still had them but needed the $ to help start my business.  The m93 is a good stock, on the heavy side as others have mentioned and that's the only reason I won't be getting another. I'm a big fan of light weight builds.
