I was scouting about for a couple of affordable lowers, posted on the main discussion board, and was directed toward Essential Arms. I discovered that they offer a gray finish as an alternative on their lowers (and other parts as well). Does anyone have experience with this finish and is it a decent match for the Colt M16 and M16A1 uppers? |

My first assembled kit rifle was built using a cast EA lower. Although the color was a great match to my mil spec A1 upper (1989) , the fit was another story. I would suggest having your upper with you at the purchase. Pay attention to the front and rear take down pins...make sure they fit your upper and slide through as intended. |
