Hey guys--I have read through every page in this pistol section over the last two days because I have my first 80 percent lower that I'll be doing my first build on. I came across the Extar the other day but haven't seen much talk on it here. My dad and I are both thinking of buying one but I would love some thoughts on it first.
I love the size, firepower, price and low recoil. I hate that the BCG is riding on polymer AND there is apparently only a 1 year warranty. http://www.extarguns.com Thanks in advance--Chip |

I'll let some of the EXP owners chime in, but we've seen a great response from customers on these. We sell out of them weekly as fast as EXTAR can ship them to us. If you have any specific questions that we can help with please just ask and I'll do my best to catch them on here. And in my personal experience of putting a few K rounds through these pistols, they're super fun. No recoil at all, even when shooting with one hand (yes, its light enough to do that).

That one year warranty worries me also. I have several, much more inexpensive, "no worry" weapons that my kids will be covered on after they inherit them. Hi-Point and S&W to name a few. If they can do it why not Extar to build some confidence in a new product?
