[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Extended flash suppressor

Looking for a 4" extended flash suppressor for extending a 12" barrel out to legal 16" length. Recommend a style and supplier please, thank you.

For that long I think your only option would be one of the fake XM177 moderators which are generally useless at flash suppression. The longest flash suppressors that come to mind are the Noveske KX3 and the BE Meyers flash suppressor and neither are even close to 4+ inches long.

Better idea would be a longer barrel.

Keep in mind that you have to add about 1/2" for the threads so to get a 12" to 16" you will need a 4.5" hider.

You can run a XM177 as suggested, or you can build a pistol, or you can sell that barrel and find a 16" or 14.5" and have an extended hider pinned.
