I bought my stainless barrel a month ago, I have not shot it.. I haven't even got the gun 100% together yet.  It has sat on a table, room temp (keep the house at 70ยบ).   Today, I noticed little speccles of corrosion all over the barrel..

It depends on the humidity level in your home.  But unprotected metals will start to rust, even in low humidity.

Remember, stainless is only rust resistant not rust proof. A dry barrel with human acid will do that.

All is true, it's Stains Less.
Best way to store a barrel is up right by the the breech, not lying down
