I removed the extractor pin but have no idea how to remove the actual extractor.

Do you pry it with a tool or something?  Perhaps a small sharp pocket knife?  The gap seems so tight?

Do you guys oil/lube underneath it?

Thanks.

Mine usually just comes off after removing the pin. I have no idea why it would be so tight; are you sure you didn't remove the pin for the ejector instead?

Jeez, I have to look at it tonight.

I am a little confused with the different names.

I appreciate your help though.

Oh, do you lube under the extractor?

Have you ever used a manual?

Hopefully this might help you with the nomenclature. I normally do not lube under the extractor, but I don't think a small amount of lube would hurt.

Ledesma,

Took the extractor off, however the extractor pin was a real challenge to get in and out.

Thanks again for your kind help.

No problem, glad I could help. Sometimes the extractor just needs quite a bit of pressure from your thumb to push the pin in and out.
