[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Extractor spring

Hi,
my friend is experiencing the extractor spring failures. Two pieces already broke withing +-2000 rounds.

Is it common problem of the AR15 or something is wrong. Wolf ammo used.

Extractor springs. Extractor itself looks to be in perfect condition.

You might want to let the experts in the Troubleshooting Forum take a crack at this.

You may want to try a D-fender/o-ring or Wolff extractor spring, but this could be a symptom of a larger problem so ask in the other forum. They are the experts.

Its my friend's, he has to figure out. I just want collect the information - if it is common or not. If I should order the spring multipack :)
