Only air marshall mall ninjas

That might sound like a GD response, but everything they make is a gimmick.

I'm getting a suppressor for my Colt and heard that it will cycle an AR15, but I hate to pay $52 for 20 rounds only to find out it won't work.

There is no magic 5.56 subsonic ammo that will cycle a standard AR15.
A modified AR with a very short gas system can be built to work, but it will be violently overgassed with standard ammo.
Super-heavy projectiles such as in this Extreme Shock ammo are intended to raise pressure enough to cycle some AR's, but I would not trust them to stabilize in a 1:7 twist barrel, especially if I was strapping a $600-1000 can on the end.

Just reading Extreme Shock's description of any of their rounds makes my face hurt from all the facepalming.

If suppressed subs that will cycle an AR is what you want, .300blk is the answer.

Gotcha, I had considered just getting a Daniel Defense 300blk.

Here's the best part from their tech info:

"You will have to fire about 8 to 10 rounds through the barrel to coat it to help slow the bullet down. The coating does not cause any buildup as with molly nor can it be cleaned out."

Wizardry, i tell you.

Some guys in a suppressor forum were loading the 100gr mag length OTMs and could not get them to cycle subsonic on a basic rifle.

You need something fancy to get it to work.
