These look good but they want $12 bucks for shipping. Has anyone used one. How are they?

How is it that just about every new member finds an unknown company that no one more established has heard of?
Ok, I know the answer, it is just so F-ing shallow. That latch looks like it will break in short order without relocating the pivot pin deeper into the material. Lots of leverage on a weak pin at the edge of aluminum. Not a recipe for longevity... The light weight rails look promising... |
| Personally I do not like extended charging handles, they catch on everything when slung, or trying to transition. I do like the Rainier Arms Raptor Charging Handle, still has a lot of real estate to grab on to yet it does not extend out a whole lot to catch on to everything. |

Edited to add: The BCM units are redesigned for the reason I mentioned, and come in several lengths to suit your needs. The Raptor is another good option. OTOH, the listed one could serve as a hook to hang up your rifle. |
