[ARCHIVED THREAD] - FDE Handguard Help?

Ive been reading the latest handguard threads and appreciate everyones input. I have another question. I've been looking at 12-13 in ff rails and all i really find in fde are the Troy and MI handguards. Are there any that I'm missing? Also Ive heard about Cerakote, but what about Powder coating? Any diy fde color options?

PRI makes railed hand guards in FDE.
carbine , mid-length and rifle length

Yeah they do and they're really expensive compared to the alternatives like Troy and MI.

I wouldn't bother refinishing a rail if it's already available in a color I want. Different colors don't cost more and you will spend some money, even in just materials to refin a rail.

Krylon... I sprayed a YHM FF rail and it is holding up well. If it gets really bad then just spray it again.

Geissele super modular rails come in sand (very similar to fde)... Expensive but worth it. Phenomenal machining and quality
