So I have one AR set up in black furniture, and one in green and I am just finishing up a 3rd. What I am thinking about doing is using black furniture and having the lower and upper dura-coated in FDE. Has anyone done this and have pictures? would you dura-coat the barrel?
I know that it is not very tactical but I don't care so please don't flame about the usefulness of this. I live in WI, FDE is not going to be very useful anyways

Thanks

I can't help you wilth the pic, but I don't know of any reason not to duracoat a barrell.

I like the reversed look you are talking about, I did something similar with a fal, it looked great.

ETA: I googled this up.

Thanks for the photo and link, I just want something different and figured this was not something I had seen so I would give it a shot.

i originally did what you're describing, but then ended up painting the stock and rails for a more complete look
