Anyone else having problems with their Gen3 PMags finish rubbing off?

Well, the paint durability depends on who did the painting, and with what product.  Especially since the mag maker, did not paint it.

You may see the finish of your magwell rubbing off onto your mag, but not the other way around.  Pmags are molded from plastic...single colored plastic, that is the same color all the way through.  They are not painted or coated in any way.

The first, and most important, problem you have is that you have a Gen 3 FDE PMAG...

I was about to suggest that I thought the Gen3s only come in black.

Gen 3 Pmags, only come in black.
Gen 2 (MOE) are full color plastic, so there's no finish to rub off.

Hence, my impression that his M3 mag was painted.

ETA:  D'oh, my sarcasm meter is miscalibrated.

hartatac.com  (I might have that website spelled incorrectly)  is painting Gen3 mags in duracoat in FDE. I've heard that duracoat isn't that durable (that's just what I've heard though) so the fact that the paint is rubbing off is not surprising.
