I think the miniature, single window, LED projected sights have been developed as far as Trijicon could. The first generation of them, dating back to 2000 or earlier, in the form of Optima2000, to the latest Docter, JPoint, FastFire, etc. have not changed a great deal. Trijicon's RMR is a huge step forward, but still retains the single pane window, exposed light source layout.
It is my believe these little sights will be relegated to backup sights or largely civilian shooting enthusiasts. |
