When ordering a firearm from an online site then having shipped to FFL do they HAVE to then charge you sales tax on it? Asking because after shipping and transfer costs that can kinda defeat the whole purpose of ordering online.

we do these all the time, If you buy out of state you dont' pay tax and since it's already paid for when your FFL gets it you're not buying it there, thus no tax.

Sounds like somebody's trying to screw you
