The only 2 free float rail options that allow the use of the front sight base and free float the M203 have been The Knights Armament URX II (which is now discontinued) and the Daniel Defense RIS II FSP.
Since KAC discontinued the URX II, that just leaves the DD RIS II FSP as the only rail that can do this correct?
Forgetting anyone?

What's the older FF that attaches to the top receiver rail?

Never used on mil guns, but the Samson MRFS was a freefloat with the ability to mount a 203.

Haven't heard of that one, is that a good rail?  Still in production?

Wow, I didn't think it was until now- but apparently it is. Click me.

I had one on an 11.5" upper for a while. I got it for a lot less than that^ on the EE, and it was the older style with the round vent holes. It was actually an extremely solid rail, and the bottom rail is held on with a spring loaded detent that can be depressed with about any tool expeditiously (and can also be secured with a bolt additionally- if you dont plan on removing it).

I just now re-read your OP and realized you want to free-float the 203. Now I feel like a jackass lol.

The M203 brackets for the URX were never sold to the public.

Or at least that I was told when I tried to buy one.

Also I've been told that the URX needs to have the steel barrel nut if your mounting a M203.  Later KAC changed to an alumnium barrel nut that shouldn't be used with a M203.

Yep, this is true.  I have a URX II with steel barrel nut.  Looking to do another build.
Since it's discontinued, I either have to find a new rail set up, or try to find a used or unused URX II.
I'm thinking I may just go with a KAC RAS and make it easy.
The DD RIS II M4A1 length rails on a 14.5 seem like too much rail for my liking.  I have no use for rails that long.
