Ok, I finally got my AR10T w/ Knights SR25 RAS on it but ran into a small problem that I really hope is no big deal.
I have a Nikon Tactical scope w/ a 50mm objective mounted on the rifle in Badger Ordnance "High" rings. Without the Butler Creek flip up cap in place, there is definetely clearance between the objective bell and the FF tube (I can see underneath). However, with the B/C flip up cap in place, it just BARELY touches the RAS. I modified the cap by cutting away a small area of the bottom of the cap, but left the part where the cap makes contact in place. What I mean by barely is that it slides in place without me having to force it on or getting it hungup on the rail and the only part touching is about 1/4" of the cap.
Is this a bad thing and will it affect the accuracy of the rifle? I will be shooting this at 700yds with the occasional shooting out to 1000yds so I want all the accuracy I can get and really dont want to wait for Ultra High rings if its nothing to worry about.

I think you'll be ok.
Having your scope flipups touch the FF tube is ok.

Since the RAS totally surrounds the FF barrel, it should be no problem.  The barrel will still be free floated, which is where the accuracy comes from anyway.  I had to do the same trimming for my 700PSS.
