Trying to determine the strongest mounting design in FF handguards, for a new rifle build with a  20"  HBAR barrel with low profile gas block . Yankee Hill and Rock River have their own nut for a  threaded on and clamp system, Troy has some set screws with the factory nut, MI has their own smooth nut for a slip on and clamp tight fit, etc...I am most familiar with the threaded on type. Are the others out there today just as sturdy? Any input, experience, fact or personal opinion would be great.

I have an MI with the clamp fit and it is very solid. They have small prongs that line up with the barrel nut to keep it from rotating. Once it is aligned tighten the screws going back and forth between front and rear to ensure both are tight.

I've installed several Yankee Hill rails, was never really impressed by them.  Troy rails are one of my favorites, Samson Mfg is also very nice.  Never used MI rails but I would give them a try based on other products I've used from them.
