So what keeps the Daniel Defense Lite handguard's barrel nut from unscrewing when you apply too much counter-clockwise pressure to, say, a vertical grip? And don't say "the bolts hitting against the upper," because they don't fit directly against it. It's not the same as the LaRue "keeper" method, for example. Sure, the DD bolts might keep it from completely unscrewing, but even an 1/8 inch rotation can make any front sight on the handguard useless. By the way, I guess this question also applies to handguards that rely on anything similar, like the YHM "jam nut." |
