[ARCHIVED THREAD] - FF handguards

I know there have been a million threads about this.... but....

I was looking at buying a MI 2 pc ff hg.

And I've heard that La Rue's are the best but, I want somthing not too dificult to install.

Is MI good or crap when compaired to stuff like La Rue?

I've heard that MI make great stuff.

Oh yea.... I'm think about building this upper from the ground up... (or assembling all the parts)

if that helps.

What do you think I should use?

I just purchased the MI#22 full length FF rails. I am very impressed with the quality and installation. After owning the standard MI carbine HG’s I was confident that the FF version would be of the same, if not better quality.

Larue's FF rails are'nt that hard to install.

I installed the MCTAR-20 FF's on my rifle and it was pretty simple. They are rock solid and look great. I can't comment on comparison with Larue b/c I don't own any of their gear (yet). For the price, go for it. You probably will be happy with either.
