I am considering sending my RRA 16" HBAR to Steve @ Adco to have the barrel threaded and a FH installed. (tired of the huge fireball !)

I have been searching the forum and archives and am now more confused than ever. I was considering an A2 FH but it appears that the Phantom (either 5C1 or 5C2) may offer better capabilities. I was also trying to keep the OAL at a minimum and it appears that there may be only an inch or so difference, once installed, between the A2 and either of the Phantoms.

If anyone can provide pics of a 16" HBAR with an A2, Phantom 5C1 and Phantom 5C2 installed, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, any preference on the FH's listed would be considered.

Do you need to perm attach it since it is 16" or are you shortening the barrel?

There's only a tad over 1/4" difference between the length of the A2 and the Phantom.

The difference in flash suppression is obvious at night, but I can't tell any difference during the day.

No, leaving the barrel at 16" (unless someone talks me out of it) so I believe the FH would still be removable.

I have a 16" BM with an A2 FH and now I am waiting on my 14.5" LMT with a 5C1 FH from the boys at Rainier. I like the 14.5" better.
