I saw a 5.7 upper somewhere, and can't find it anywhere online now.

It took standard p90/ps90 mags, and ejected through the AR magwell.

Anyone else see this, and who makes it? Link?

Thanks, CIB. That's the one. I had mentioned it to my FFL, and he was curious.
He's an AR guy, and he's also an FN dealer.

Thats one of those things if the price is right I would get one to mess around with.

Last I heard was MSRP was going to be around $500.  Which I did'nt think was too bad, they do have some pretty cool products.

Yeah $500 is not bad. Thats one of those things to keep any eye out for.

WOW!

Thanks for the link.
They make a lot of really interesting products, not the least being the subject of this thread!

Thanks again,

I was wondering...

Excluding the cool factor, wouldn't it be easier, cheaper, and more practical to make an upper and magwell adapter that used the FN FiveSeven pistol magazines instead?

My logic on this is...  The FiveSeven pistol is not that expensive.  I actually know a couple of guys who own them, and almost bought one myself.  The P90 on the other hand is way more than I want to spend ($1599+).  So for the guys who own the pistol, but can't afford the rifle or would rather not invest that much into it, wouldn't the more traditional styled upper with magazine conversion block of some type make more sense?

If there were such an upper and conversion block, I'd certainly buy one, and then go get a FiveSeven pistol to go along with it.

I don't mean "instead of", but rather "in addition to" or more to the point, "first, to gauge the true interest"?  I always favor the "make both" option.

Onslaught,

I'd say it would DEFINITELY be easier to do a conventional pistol cal. conversion, but you know the 50 round mags with downward ejection is AWEFULLY high on cool factor. One of the things I like (and this would/could also carry over to a more conventional upper conversion) is the P90-like ambi side cocking action. Combine that with the downward ejection and you've really minimized any gases coming at your face/eyes.

I'd LOVE something like this. I've shouldered a PS90 and didn't like the ergonomics as much as those or an AR. I'd happily deal with the expense of the magazines (and ammo) for something that combined features of an AR15 and PS90.

Saw one at the last Tulsa, Oklahoma gun show in October.  Not a bad design and it is different looking.  I believe they are suppose be release the first of next year.  I can't remember what the price was but it wasn't to bad.

$1599+ OnSlaught for a PS90. I guess if you have the cash and don't like to shop around.

I don't know if I would buy this system but it is cool and inventive. But if the price is right anything is posible.
