So, I drew an FN M16A2 from supply today...I've never seen one before, just gotten my good ole colt until today. I don't have any pics, but it was purple (OH NOES!!!)...that is all.

My M-16 A4 in basic training was an FN. The dang thing had that crazy purplish sheen to it too.

Yep, I had a purple FN before also. 1st ones looked purple with the crazy dot matrix looking stamping on the side but the newer FN A4s are pretty much black and have shallow roll stamping. They rattle just as much as a Colt.
