Thats how far the bullet will fly. Actually it's probably longer than that.

Usually, information like that is helpful when you're building ranges, identifying SDZ's, and taking into consideration the geometry of an "outside of range fan" discharge. I honestly can't think of any other situation where that information would be of value.

Maximum effective range is rated at 550m. 800m for area terget.

Yep. For the average Joe, that weapon, no optics, I'd say 550 is pushing it pretty good.
