[ARCHIVED THREAD] - FN contract upper?

Surfing through gun sale boards around the web I noticed a lot of ARs being offered with name-brand lower receivers and "FN contract" upper receivers. Just what is a "contract" receiver? I though FN only sold to military and law enforcement entities. Please advise.

Hey Bud, got ahold of Ray-vin. He has never heard of Florida Gun Works. I generally like to hear from satisfied customers before shopping in cyber space. Thanks

One place I can highly recommend for internet shopping is Numrich Gun Parts in NY. Great service and quality parts at a good price!

PZSGT...I agree on the quality of Numrich, now-known-as Gun Parts Corp(GPC)...price-wise they aren't usually the best. Found out that FGW has a website...www.floridagunworks.com Did you learn anything about FN? Thx...Bud
