I Broke this lower a while back putting on a Magpul enhanced Trigger guard. I replaced it with a Rock River lower on my duty gun , and now have started building a Franken Gun . Some others here suggested that I may want to try this grip to cover up the portion of the lower that i broke after the fix and I found one.  I gotta say that it took a while to get beyond the name and the looks of this, being an Iron Man fan from way back Stark on a real product was kinda weird. The interesting thing is if you close your eye and get beyond all that stuff the grip feels pretty  damn good. So I got the lower and waiting on a stock and upper receiver. picked up a barrel that will be sent for re profiling and fluting .

Anyone else have any experience with the Stark Grip ?

I agree about closing your eyes

The 'beaver-tail' looks kinda funky, it might look better had they blended it into the receiver extension boss area.

Is the grip angle the same as the standard AR?

where did you get it from??....I kinda like it!

Botach has them ... the angle is not what i am use too . My duty gun has a Houge grip on it this is definitely different its $40.00 and has a battery compartment I opted for the 123 battery plug vs the AAA. It does hide the damage I inflicted on teh lower quite nicely though

Stark Equipment Corp.  Stark Equip.
I ordered mine directly from Stark.
I just got one. and I really like it. I like it  much better than the MIAD grip.  I can see some issues reaching the safety if you have small hands but it feels great in my big mitts.  I might post pics soon.  I still haven't seen pics on here with it on a fully assembled rifle.
Magpul is the darling of the AR world now.   Just wait until something new comes along and magpul will be unkool.

Glad it works for you. I'd have to dremel off that thumb shelf, add some secure storage, and make some other changes to like it.  I do really like how they integrated the curved trigger guard, like magpul did.

"Form follows function" right ?
That grip looks comfortable and the angle kinda looks 1911A1-ish.
Must try.

So is Stark  paying royalties to Marvel Comics? May buy one for a lower that is in a bind with the trigger guard on my MIAD. Like the profile.

Dint know if they are paying royalties to Marvel but t is clearly an attempt at using the comics and movie popularity to help them market a product.

Is this the AK feedramp fail you're speaking of?

$40? Double what a MOE costs... Think I'll pass.

Nah, a guy dremeled flutes into his barrel to lighten it and increase heat dispersion...

Found the pic on my harddrive...

Oh no its going to a gunsmith to be cut down to a mid weight and then fluting . I may be grabbing another HBAR from another co worker too  everyone went light weight with the amount of time we were spending with the things out  on target.

heres the thread on that one

If it helps your grip/ accuracy even .01%, who gives a fuck how it looks. You're not fuckin' it you're shootin' it.

Man...  I was excited about this guy, but it really is ugly!  I'd love to hear how it shoots.  I love that I won't have to deal with that pin...

Looks like it moves your hand position down quite a bit.  I wonder if that is better worse?  Can your thumb engage the safety selector easily?  The mag release?  How is the trigger finger affected?

Still, I might give one a try.

It needs to be darker to blend in with the lower, but I think the organic curves are throwing it off in terms of appearance.

I bought this grip and love it.  I reviewed it in the 'new products' or ar15 discussion thread.

The extra thickness means you are pressing the trigger with the tip of the finger instead of the middle, which for a civil with a semi auto, I get faster shots.  The angle is better for modern elbow tucked shooting.  The extra thumb web support means a more secure grip and better recoil control.  It's the best grip I've tried, with the Ergo grip coming in second.

if i ever snapped one of the tabs i think id look into the MIAD grip

I am using this grip on an AR-Pistol.  It needed some serious dremel work to get it to fit, but that was due to the lower.  It test fit my other lowers flawlessly.

SUN DEVIL MFG upper and lower
GUNSMOKE ENTERPRISES buffer assembly
AR-GOLD match grade trigger (wanted a light trigger, I may swap this out later)

Yes it does feel good...  Kinda like a fat chick - you don't want to be seen with one but they sure are fun to play with.

I bought a couple of these grips when they first became available. Actually, I tried to talk Stark out of one at Shot Show with no sucess. I've got one on a rifle and now, one on a pistol and they're great on the pistol too...... That's an update from my first post on the first page......
They were well thought out and align my hand quite well from any angle. I'm hoping Brownell's or Midway will pick them up someday... HINT...................................

I've been looking at this grip for awhile.  I tend to like the odd grips though.  I have a G27 that I ran before putting a MOE on my KISS rifle.  I kinda like the "pistol" feel to the straight down type grip.  I could see how this would work well with a pistol.

I'll keep hitting the EE to see if I can find a used one.

Get over it guys. Looks mean nothing. This grip is by far the most ergonomic/comfortable grip I have ever run. I have been testing one out now for the past couple of months, and I will be getting another to replace my other MIAD on my duty carbine.

When I was in the market for a grip I stopped at my local FFL and they had a couple of these on their shelves, it felt pretty comfy but my wife didn't like it(she has small hands) and since she shoots my AR and won't get her OWN, I ended up getting a MIAD.

Interesting grip.
I never understood why some gripe over the look of a tool (ie firearm).

For those who have one, is Stark grip similiar in width to the MAID with the large back strap on?

I prefer my Stark grip over my MIAD grip and I actually like the way it looks. The quality on this piece is high and the fitment is excellent.  Buy now before word gets around and you won't be able to find one.

Stark rules over MIAD on my precision AR.    ON my run and gun carbine I have the MAID.

I really think the Stark has potential.
