I'm just curious if you guys have a favorite block used for removing FSBs? I just ordered a Block Worx upper reciever clamp set and a lower reciever block as well. The only other thing I'm worried about is possible barrel damage when removing the FSB pins. In particular, one of the two builds I have lined up will have a Noveske 18" SPR barrel (already have). I really don't want to FU my $500 barrel trying to remove the pins so I can install the barrel nut. Any recommendations? I know sometimes the best bet is a home built tool...I'd thought about a couple of 2"X4" with a small groove to support the barrel on either side. A while ago I fashioned a plastic block with several holes in it in for installing trigger guards and it has worked great.

All of the FSB support blocks that I've seen are pretty much designed for a front sight tower and not for a lo-pro block. Thanks for the input guys!!

I use the Brownells Front Sight Bench Block to good effect.
