I'm getting an occasional FTE with the extracted case laying in the chamber and the next round started out of the mag only with the first round out of a full mag. I've been trying out some new CP mags when this occurred. It's a 16" BM with not too many rounds through it and shooting both Guat and Prvi. I suspect the mag because of it only occurring on the first round. Can anybody explain how this can happen and if there is a fix? |

Guessing that mag/top round tension from the top round pushing up against the bottom of the carrier is slowing the carrier back to the point that it's causing a problem. Let the mags break in, and just add a #60 O ring to extractor spring as a band-aid until mag break in to make sure that the extractor does not drop the spent case until the rearward stall of cycle. |
