I just saw the post on the FTE's Meat is getting with his LMT enhanced bolt, and a question came to mind. After how many rounds to do you guys think the extractor needs to be replaced? My stock Bushy HBAR carbine's extractor needed to be replaced after about 3000 rounds (all in 1 month). Is this about normal?

Extractor should be good for at least 6000 rounds, they're not a high failure item.  Inexpensive to replace and there should be at least one in your spares.  I've had the same one in my M4 for well over 10 years.

So much for the "enhanced bolt" on the other guy's ...
