My tinkering has caused this problem I think but the experts here I am sure ca advise me on this.  I have a new Remington R-15.  It shot extremely well, accurate and no stoppages of any kind until I uniformed the primer pockets with a Sinclair 8001 uniformer.  I have uniformed many primer pockets in cases used with bolt actions with no issue.
But now on my 223, it will only barely dent the primer and will not fire on any case that has been worked on.  My only guess i s by design the AR does not like the slightly deeper primer pockets.  Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks in advance Greg

Maybe you bumped the shoulder back too far on your brass?  It would allow the case to fall too far into the chamber. If that turns out to be the problem, don't shoot it, you will experience head separation.

The primers could be sinking into the pocket during chambering .
