Ive owned my bushmaster for about 2 years now. When I first bought it, it had the regular butt stock and fired great. I changed the stock to a fixed telestyle stock(installed 1.5years ago), and it functions great.

Now I swapped back in my old regular buttstock w/ old buffer spring. Went to the range, fired the first round, extracted, but now it wont feed the next round. I tried several mags that functioned great before...shot the same ammo that worked great before..so im sure its not those two. And still it wont feed a single round. Can a buffer spring fall out of spec by sitting out so long?..it has been almost 2 years. Is there something else I might not be looking at?

Not in a hundred years.

Has the rifle been cleaned/lubed per the manual?

Buffer and spring correctly assembled and installed?
