Hi Everyone,

Searched online but could not find what the factory zero is from factory at Eotech. I believe it is 25y but hoping for confirmation.

Thanks T

I dont think there is a factory zero, and if there is I have never heard of it.

They don't come factory zeroed.  You will need to zero it yourself at a chosen distance.

Go on their website.  (Eotech)
Download and print the target.

Set it out at the distance they specify.

Understand the aiming point and the point of bullet impact is different.

Set a regular target out at a hundred or two hundred yards and adjust as necessary.

To save ammo on "what if" scenarios ... (After it is sighted in), purchase iStrelock from the App Store of your choice and make a decision from those results.

He does a great job keeping his app updated.  My real life results reflect the app calculations.  He has all the Eotech reticals along with hundreds more.

The money I saved on ammo more than substantiated the purchase price.

Note that if you change ammo, the rifle will have to be re-zeroed.  I.E., 55gr to 75gr.

Document your results, set a baseline with your favorite ammo.  Adjust clicks when you swap ammo.

Now go make some noise and have fun ... 'tis the point of the whole thing!

All optics come from the manufacturer centered in their adjustment range. It is impossible to make any scope that will be zeroed from the factory at any given range for any brand rifle let alone every rifle, that's why they come with adjustments.

I emailed eotech about a month ago and they said 50 yards for zero.

Mechanical zero of the optic has absolutely nothing to do with the firearm. You zero based on personal preferences - most people seem to like either 50/200 or 25/300.
