I was trying to sight in my new Bushy yesterday and I just could not get it zeroed to save my life.

I was in the Army for 8 years so I effectively know how to zero a standard A2 in 9 or less rounds, however I own a flat top M4 now with a 40L BUIS. I was using the standard military zeroing target and was constantly high and to the right (off the paper). The front sight post was well above (almost out) of the apperature and that barely got it on the paper.

Will purchasing a riser help with this problem, or am I doing something else wrong?

you need a taller front sight post

Taller Front Sight Post

it's specifically for flattops (carry handle or BUIS)...

And Bushmaster doesn't automatically put these in when they ship their M4's to the dealers?

Ok then.

Thank you very much for the reply. I have ordered the taller sight post and I will give that a try. Thanks again.
