Im looking to purchase an ACOG type scope.  I don’t want tritium that’s why im looking for a fake not that im cheap I just don’t like the idea of it going out eventually.  I have seen some quality replicas out there and even the Bushnell but I want some magnification.  Im going to be adding the doc optic scope to the top so it has to be a good replica. Anyone have ideas?

you do know that they will service the acog and replace the tritium when it goes out, right?

Why would you want a replica ACOG when you could get a better scope for the same money?

I think the tritium replacement cost is somewhere around $150, but I'm not certain.  You should only need a replacement every 6-8 years I would think.

They charge 250.00 and service the entire scope and replace anything that needs replacing.  What is funny is buying a fake ACOG which would be a red dot and then mounting a smaller red dot on top of it, I dont get it?

For less then twice the cost of the 1337tactical ACOG knock off you could buy an IOR M2 CQB which is also a 4x scope, has one of the best reticles on the market now, amazing glass, and is built like a tank.

I can't state how much I am impressed with IORs glass.

Buy quality once, or buy crap twice, doesn't seem like much of a choice to me.

seriously, a real ACOG with dim tritium is still a hell of a lot better than a fACOG ever will be.
