I have seen the thread on how to tell if an aimpoint red dot is fake, but is there anyway to tell if an aimpoint 3x is fake? Also is there any way to tell what model it is, if there are different models. Thanks for the help!

Yes, as stated it is in the same thread. Pat attention to the font of the brand name on the rubber body cover and look for the split seam in the rubber coating on the underside. I've had both, I know first hand. BTW, the fake is not waterproof and will fog internally after use in the rain. |
