I have
Surefire 6P Magpul front and rear MBUIS Magpul VFG Blackhawk! single point sling Spike's Tactical Fake can Spikes cosmetic blem upper Spikes gas tube Spikes gas block low pro Spikes Forwad Assist, Dust Plate Cover Then all I need is: Del-Ton forward assist and dust cover kits midwest industries T7 YHM gas block/gas tube 11.5" barrel Troy TRX Extreme 9 10.5" barrel BCM bolt carrier group |

I don't think it's even attached, just mocked up. It's not installed in the other pictures.
Maybe its me, but the forward assist looks "funny", looks to deep. If its hanging up, it could be bad. If you use it,and it sticks forward and you pull the trigger....ouch |
| I'm going to go with a Troy TRX Extreme 9 instead of the MI T-7 I want the light weight rail to counter the weight of the fake silencer. I'm still open to suggestions on 10.5" barrels. |

Okay after a lot of thinking I've come to a conclusion.
I have a 14.5" carbine with a "rough" bushmaster barrel...there was a little thread damage while removing a bushmaster mini-y comp. This barrel will be sent to adco to be cut and threaded at 10.5 inches. Then the fake can that gets everybody so jumpy will go on that already POS barrel. After the addition of a m4 RAS this will be a MK18 inspired variant etc. and a gun that is completely form over function. The above build will receive a DD 14.5 Carbine barrel with fsp and I will low-pro the fsp for a more reliable gas block then attach a Troy TRX extreme 9 and possibly some troy sights. Sell everything else and cut my losses. I will then have a fun gun and a respectable carbine as opposed to two useless firearms. |

You also need a 4.5" flash-hider to permanently pin to that 11.5" barrel or a completed and approved Form 1 to SBR that lower... I'm going to perm. attach the fake can. Pin & weld I would advise against perm. attaching the fake can. Tom from Spike's advised a guy recently against this very thing. I'll see if I can find the thread. |
It was me...lol
Why would they say this on their website if they don't recommend it? If your using an ET-1 to get a 16" OAL it needs to be perm attached!

| I like your build and even the fake suppressor looks kool. Post up new picks when the barrel gets in. I am building a Larue upper lower with 3 upper version and I may get a fake can for one of them till I get my paper work done for a real one. (great idea) It will make the wait not as bad for sure. Good Luck with the neat build. |
