I like the Triangle and the Chevron! www.csgunworks.com [email protected] Here’s some testimonials about CS GunWorks for AR15 Board Mike at CS Gunworks is... |
+1 The red chevron seem to me to be more precise than the others. For those of you who like the amber color reticles, can you please tell me why that might be preferred? It seems to me that the red is easier for target aquisition, but I may be totally wrong about that. P.S. Finally a different type of ACOG question post (it's virtually flame/troll proof - knock on wood). I'm intrigued b/c I'll be getting one soon. Thanks. |
I find the chevron harder to use close range using BAC. It is a very fine long range recticle. The triangle works better in BAC for me, and is almost as good long range. To me, the triangle seems to work better overall. |

The donut is slightly faster the chevron, the problem and its not so much a problem is that most people tend to attempt to be a bit more precise with the chevron than with the donut. With the donut, you just place it and fire, with the chevron people trying to center the chevron on the target, since you still have to get the target center lined in order to hit. The donut being smaller and at the center makes it a bit faster since once it is on it is centered. I guess one could be a bit of a training issue and one can be trained to use either just as fast. |
