I noticed that on my 6920 with Mil-Spec Mags that when the bolt cycles back, the top round in the magazine cants outward and up away from the feed lips.  Not so much that it is loose in the receiver, but it is not all the way under the feed lips.  It is like when the carrier goes back and the spent casing is ejected, the top round in the mag is already half way out from under the feed lips and angled upward and to the right or left depending on which side of the mag it is from.  It feeds like a champ...but is that normal?

I never noticed it before...but then again, I never watched it cycle, I just shot it.

You are watching a full speed cycle?

It's probably an optical illusion, like when you wave a pencil in the air and it looks like it's bending

No, I am cycling it by hand locking the bolt to the rear with a loaded mag inserted.
