Finally joined the AR community today with a Daniel Defense M4V7LW. I waited over a year, saved up, waited until the gun I wanted was available and discounted, gathered my gift cards for the local club and made the purchase. Still need to pick up a rear sight and some ammo and then I'll be squared away!

And now I'll be saving up for ammo, cleaning supplies, and training until I die

Congrats on the new AR. DD is an excellent choice, too. A word of warning: AR's are like a black hole in your gun safe that money disappears into.
