I finally received my RRA-my first AR. It is a flattop middie that I am really liking. I ordered it before Christmas and received it on Thursday. I already had several accessories waiting to put on it. I put on and Ergo handguard rail that confirms that I want a railed forearm, an MI rear BUIS, CAA VFG, and CAA stock saddle. I really like all of the accessories that I got for it. The stock saddle is a great piece of gear for the price ($15 from Brownells). I also purchased 11 of the teflon coated D&H mags and 1 PMAG.

I couldn't stand to sit and look at it any longer and went out into the snow to sight it in.  I will definately be buying more PMAGs. It performed very well. I tried several types of ammo and the only thing that it did not like was Wolf. I know that it is still break in time, so I will try Wolf again after I get some more rounds through it. It shot very well. I got it zero'd and then just put some rounds through it. I am very pleased and am thankful for the input from this site that I have been lurking at for awhile. I had plenty of experience with the M-16 in the Army (I competed with it on my unit rifle team and I was also an armorer), but it is amazing all of the info that I had forgot over the years and just didn't learn to begin with. Thanks again for a great site with great information.

HA HA HA!!! I knew that somebody would say something about pics. Unfortunately I don't have a digital camera, so I am going to have to get some developed and then scan them. I'll try to get that done.
