| Because it won't stay on under sustained fire. Hell, it won't stay on the same brightness setting if I rack the charging handle. Surefire more or less told me to get bent because it wasn't advertised as a "weapon light" on their website. I got a hold of Bravo Company about a month ago and will be sending it back now that I am back in town. I don't think I will ever buy a surefire again. |

Sucks to hear you have had problems with your light. I have had zero problems with my surefire lights. You can always get a nice surefire scout M600a on Egay for about $166'ish new. Good luck getting a new light. |

Well shit happens. I understand things don't ALWAYS work like they are supposed to. But what turned me off of surefire was the shitty CS. Your SF light is working exactly like it should. It is not intended for weapon mounted use. The light switches modes by sensing a temporary interruption in current. When your fire or jolt the weapon, the batteries, held in place by spring pressure, will break contact momentarily. The light detects this as the user cycling the switch and switches modes. |

Nice gun though! It doesn't add up to me that a light advertised as tactical, defensive, "bomb proof" can be shut off unintentionally by the mild jolt of a 5.56 NATO or by simply dropping it. That is why I feel it is a POS. Either way, it was my mistake for ordering a dual output light. That won't happen again. |
