How do you like the rifle length FF tube as opposed to the middy? At the range last week I shot next to a gent who had a rifle length tube on his 3-gun AR, and I have to admit it did feel like it gave better muzzle control over the gun than one gets with a mid length.
Looking forward to reading about how it shoots. Thanks for posting the pic. |
| The rifle length tube makes the rifle balance better and covers up the gas block. I am very happy with it. I accumulated the parts for about three months due to budget. Used an AA cosmetic blem lower and new AA barrel and bolt from gunbroker. Got the stripped upper from Umlaut Industries, they had it in stock. I already had a midlength handguard and sold it when I got the rifle length tube. Both were Rock River so I only had to swap the tube as barrel nut is the same for both. Have about $800 in it plus the scope and mounts. I will hunt Texas deer with it this season.. |
