Today I received my Colt LE6940. I have a couple of AR's, but none of them are "mine". One is my wife's, one I acquired through helping a friend in need, but none were "mine". I have my AK and have been happy with that for years, but got the "bug" for an AR. Thought and looked long and hard. I believe this gives me a very practical, quality piece of equipment that doesn't need much at all. Trigger, Optic, Buttstock (already on), and that's basically it. I fired a few rounds at the gun shop before taking it home. (they had it prepped). Solid, comfortable and it simply feels like quality. I'll build an AR in the future, but this one just fits.

Great quality gun and I've shot a buddy's a time or two. See it on occassion. Well built, though probably not the most practical application of a monolithic rifle ever made.
Regardless, should serve you well. Also, you probably saved yourself from buying twice (a couple times) working your way up to something of that quality. |
