After years of telling myself I don't need an AR. I finally gave in. I've been working on my own firearms and reloading for many years, so I figured why not. I'm finding this is very addictive.
I was looking to do a complete build, but found a Spikes Tactical Complete Upper 16" Mid-length 5.56 w/government profile CMV CL barrel for a good price. I ordered the Upper and went to my LGS to order a Spikes stripped lower and some Magpul FDE furniture. I picked up a CMMG LPK for a steal, but it's getting set aside for the next build. Already looking ahead. I found the Spikes Enhanced LPK in FDE for this one. Also found a Spikes buffer tube assembly with the T2 buffer and picked it up. This one will be a complete Spikes Tactical firearm with Magpul furniture. I'm just piecing it together myself. Almost all parts are in. Waiting on the Lower. Should be here Monday. I did get a VLTOR/BCM Mod 4 charge handle also. *Note to self: Always check pricing at your LGS, you may find they are less expensive than online.* Saved me quite a bit. Under $850 for everything, less the CMMG LPK. That was an extra $40 at a Gun show. |

Welcome. I now diagnose you with BRD. As you stated that LPK will undoubtedly turn into another complete rifle.
When you get it all together & have shot it report back & let us know how it went. Then make sure any friends that don't own one shoots it & you give them BRD. It is contagion in Arms form. |

Still need to change out the trigger/hammer to the Spikes Battle Trigger when it comes in.
