I want to match an M4 upper to my Delton Lower. DTI would ofcourse be the first place i would look, but it seems to me that they dont have the extended feed ramp uppers. If I'm wrong, I'm sure ill be put in my place.
Otherwise, does anyone know of another upper with the m4 feed ramps that would match the DTI lower. DTI lowers are more of a dark GRAY MATTE finish than a black glossy. |
The pistol I'm working on now has a light gray finished lower, a camo finished upper, a black pistol buffer tube and foam thingie (yes, that is the technical term...  ) and black handguards, dark gray magazines, and dark gray barrel and front sight post. I have OD green moly resin, which I might use to get things to match better... They also make a lot of shades of gray, black and OD green if you wanted to re-do whatever upper and lower you have to match better.

Maybe I can take it around town to different shops and try and match it up. It's hard to give you advice because anodization coloring can vary even within the same lot being anodized at the same time & no one knows what colors will be the same better than anyone else. I wouldn't worry about it. |

it is sometimes really hard to match uppers and lowers. I actually did some research a while back trying to find an upper to match my bushy lower. I beleive bushys arent really considered real black like a RRA and others. I found a perfect match and a great receiver from White Oak Armarment. If Del ton and bushys are similar colors that would be a good choice.
