I just came across this sale on EE. Just what we need to finish up our retro clone builds.

Not my sale.

I was just gonna start a thread asking what rifles/carbines these would have been used on, & what size for each gun.

So would one of these have been put on a 601? If so what size? What about a XM177E2, & a 607 carbine?

Thanks

I'm gonna use the large one on the side of my XM177 and the small one on the front of the magwell for my XM177E2 and my 603.

I'm going to wait until I get one of those to mark my rifle and THEN post pics!

I bought the small and large but never used it on anything yet.

I bought some as well. When I get them, I'd be willing to lend them out for people to use.

You blew it, you should have said, "send me your rifles, I'll inspect, test and stamp them."

Just out of curiosity....I remember seeing M-14s with the same marking on synthetic stocks-any idea where and what color they were? Been TOO MANY years for me to think back!
I THINK they were white or off-white on the bayonet scabbards (M8-A1, stamped on the back side at the top), but I seem to recall a dark blue/black ink used on some scabbards (WW2 or VN?); I'm thinking the long M-1917 for the trench gun bayonets.
Any other places these stamps were used, and paint colors?
