So I decided to order a Fire For Effect upp, for my cmmg lower. Was pleasantly surprised, 499.00 plus shipping, took ordered Thursday last week, and arrived today, very helpful customer service, they answer the phone.... Some thoughts on it and I am by no way an expert or even close to knowing anything about it....
When I ordered it, I knew the barrel was 1:7 twist and came with an m16 style bolt carrier... I figured it'd be the same type of barrel my cmmg 300 blk had, no chrome lining.... To my surprise it was chrome lined, I think the bcg is made by cmmg not sure though, they wouldn't confirm on the phone. The warranty is for 90 days, which sucks and the manual leave a lot to be desired on the warranty to be honest, it doesn't say anything about steel cased ammo, so I assume it is not covered..... I won't know how it shoots until Wednesday or Thursday... But will post when that happens.... |
