| Spikes makes good stuff in my opinion. I love the upper I got from them. Have put approximately 1000+ rounds through it trouble free. Don't worry about upgrades yet. Get Ammo and mags, and go shoot that thing! Shoot some more. Then when you are proficient with the weapon, you will find what you need/don't. |

Thanks guys I was looking to buy a complete rifle and it seemed like I could get more bang for my buck buying a lower and upper separately than getting a complete rifle
Already have my eye on 1000 round ammo prices... have you guys used Prvi Partizan PPU .223/5.56 M193 55grn FMJ ? 1000@ $290 on aimsurplus.... |

Consistent, relatively accurate for M193 and very reliable. I keep some as my only factory ammo stashed for a rainy day. I'm a reloader for other purposes. At those prices, I'd buy more than 1k. I may have to suck it up and buy 1k myself. I doubt it'll get any cheaper as we get closer to the election. My ONLY complaint with the ammo is that, like all M193, it's got crimped primer pockets and Prvi doesn't mess around with their crimp. |

I got essentially the same rilfe but bought mine complete. Actually only took weeks for it to ship even though I was quoted 8 weeks. Keep and eye on your email and you make be surprised. I'm just waiting on the paperwork from the MAN before I can pick it up.
palmetto state armory has federal XM193F for 5.49 a box, thats about 275 a 1000 and $12 shipping |
