[ARCHIVED THREAD] - First AR

I just ordered my first AR and did so through RB Precision.

CAR A4 with 6 position CAR stock

A.R.M.S. #50M S.I.R. Rail

A.R.M.S. #40L rear flip up sight (low)

Hogue grips

eotech 511
They said they could get the S.I.R. system within a few days and then would drop it off at Rock River to be put on the weapon. I was told I could have it possibly within 3-4 weeks since RRA sometimes completes weapons with special parts to be put on before others. I can only hope!! I'll post pics when I get it. I think I'm catching the AR bug!!haven

Congrats and Welcome!As far as the Wife is concerned,the key phrase is,I have no recollection of that purchase.

This thread made me remember my first AR in 1983,SGW lower built with "liberated"M16A1 parts!
