After much searching, research and old post reading around December I decided on which AR to get. I decided on Spikes for alot of reasons ( quality, reputation, parts used ) including they are only about 2 hours from me. I ordered the lower in Dec. and got it pretty quick, within 10 days. Ordered the upper first week of January and received it yesterday. I can't wait to take to the range and get it sighted in!!  I also bought some rails but didn't realize they were not drop in FF.  My own fault didn't read the big bold print that says you have to remove the FSB. Not sure if I want to tackle that. I think I can do it but am worried about scratching the barrel up. Not sure how to post pics but when I do I will post some.

Take a trip to Spikes with the rails. I'm sure they will help you out. Great people to deal with.

The upper looks darker because it still has the shipping oil on it. I cleaned the lower when I first got it ( Dec. ) while I was waiting for the upper to get here. When the upper got here this week I couldn't wait long enough to clean it before putting them together. Right out of the box I put them together. The upper still needs to be cleaned well and wiped down.
